The Hot Tub Journal

East Texas Hot Tub Co. has been the authorized Hot Spring dealer in Longview since 1986, meaning we have been delivering, installing, and servicing spas in this community for nearly 40 years. We carry the full Hot Spring, Freeflow, Endless Pools, Tylö sauna, and Vigor cold plunge lines, all under one roof. When something needs attention five years after your purchase, you call the same family that sold it to you.

Compare Grandee for open family seating, Jetsetter for a compact lounge, Pulse for a seven-seat Limelight layout, and Freeflow Azure or Monterey as budget starting points. Ask for current model pricing and confirm site requirements.

East Texas summers run hot from May through September, but that does not mean your hot tub sits unused. The CoolZone system can drop your water temperature down to 85 degrees, turning your spa into a refreshing cool-down pool on 100-degree afternoons. Even without CoolZone, most people find that soaking at 99 to 100 degrees on a warm evening is genuinely comfortable and deeply relaxing. Hot tubs in East Texas get used year-round.

Online hot tub prices often look attractive but typically exclude delivery, installation, and the local service relationship that determines whether your warranty is actually worth anything. A dealer like East Texas Hot Tub Co. delivers, installs, starts up, and services every spa we sell. When something needs attention five years from now, we are still here. For a purchase this size, the local dealer advantage is real.

A quality hot tub cover keeps your water hot, cuts your electricity bill, and protects your investment from weather and debris. Look for a minimum 4-inch taper on the foam core, a vapor barrier inside each foam panel, and a denier rating of at least 600D on the vinyl.

Compare Endless Pools Hydrodrive E-Series, SwimCross X-Series and RecSport R-Series. The reviewed lineup runs from 12 to 20 feet long; confirm current pricing, foundation, access and exact electrical requirements before purchase.

Compare FreshWater Salt and conventional chlorine care: testing, compatible models, monitoring, dosing and the supplies each system needs. Manufacturer-backed advice from our East Texas team.

East Texas averages more than 230 outdoor-friendly evenings a year, which means a hot tub here gets used far more than in most parts of the country. Mild winters, a culture built around porch time and backyard living, and the genuine therapeutic benefits of daily hydrotherapy make this region one of the best places in America to own a spa. Here is why your neighbors are soaking and why the trend shows no signs of slowing down.

Cold plunging has gone from a fringe habit to a backyard staple fast. Here is the honest version: what it actually feels like, why people stick with it, and what to expect when you start.
